The Rusty Hut with hot tub

One of two new, 2-person luxury huts with wood fired Sweedish hot tubs opened this year as part of the on-going development of Bothan Jura Retreat, the Rusty Hut is a unique, modern accommodation for two. Thoughtfully created and decorated to provide a tiny sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle beyond the Sound of Jura. Though the hut sits within our grounds, it is the furthest away and has a tall wooden screen to the side for privacy.

The Rusty Hut is designed as single, open plan living spaces; with a well equipped kitchen, separate shower room and loo, and a log burning stove for heat. A double bed can be made in the living space, or for those happy to climb a sturdy library ladder, there is a comfortable double mattress made up on the mezzanine above.

The bathroom has an electric shower, toilet and sink. The hut is on a septic tank and we have just found out (rather revoultingly) how important it is that guests DO NOT FLUSH anything other than paper down it, so please be mindful of what you put down the toilet.

Outside is a good sized garden, to enjoy breakfast and soak up the views.
